Event: LONDON LYNX RINGETTE ASSOCIATION Date: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH at 1 pm Location: CARLING ARENA 675 Grosvenor Street, London, (1 block east of Adelaide, 1 block north of Oxford Street) All girls ages 5 and up wanting to “Come Try Ringette” with the London Lynx Ringette Association are welcome. Check in starts: 12:15pm Ice time starts: 1pm - 1:50pm Off-ice activities: 1:50 – 3pm Check in and have time to get dressed to go on the ice. Skaters will go on the ice with on-ice instructors for some fun skills and drills. Light refreshments, activities and information about the growing sport of Ringette will follow upstairs at Carling Arena. Watch one of London’s Provincial Ringette teams play a game while you speak to other parents and coaches about Ringette. Equipment required: Hockey skates, helmet with face mask, hockey gloves or thick ski gloves or mittens. Any other Ringette (protective) gear can be worn and is recommended. Ringette stick will be needed. Please advise when you pre-register your daughter for this event if your daughter needs to borrow any of the required gear. Pre-registration for this event is required. We will have some helmets available to borrow and sticks will be provided. There will be one hour on ice instruction with coaches and older players followed by a short off ice information session for parents, light refreshments and kids activities. A high level exhibiton game will also be showcased in the 2nd hour for you to see how the game is played. Check-in starts at 3:30 pm and ice time is 4 pm - 4:50 pm. Off-ice activities: 4:50 - 6 pm.
